The technology factors in the wearer´s power of accommodation, the small adjustments the eyes naturally make to focus on different distances, to minimize oblique aberrations more effectively than ever before.

STEADY METHODOLOGY

Steady Methodology2 is a technological breakthrough in digital progressive lenses. This patented approach reduces swim effect by controlling unwanted mean power in the lateral areas of the lens.

Past efforts to correct swim effect have primarily focused on the control of unwanted cylinder error. However, unwanted mean power also plays a significant role in the perception of swim effect, and therefore wearer satisfaction. Steady Methodology2 dramatically reduces mean power error in the lens periphery, especially on both sides of the fitting cross.
